Friedrich Naumann Foundation For Liberty

The Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF) is an independent, non-profit, nongovernmental organisation that has been committed to promoting liberal policy and politics since its inception in 1958. To create an open society, FNF is guided by the principles of Liberalism and its message of mutual tolerance and acceptance of diversity. Its core concepts such as the protection of human rights, the application of the rule of law, liberal democracy and a free market economy have proven throughout the centuries that Liberalism offers appropriate solutions for the present and the future in public and personal life.
 

The Arab Center for the Development of the Rule of Law and Integrity

The Arab Center for the Development of the Rule of Law and Integrity “ACRLI” is an Arab regional non-governmental, and non-profit organization, aiming to strengthen the Rule of Law, fight societal & governmental corruption and build the foundations of Law, efficient and independent justice systems within the Arab World.



The Coalition for Accountability and Integrity

Based on a principled commitment to the objectives of ensuring integrity, transparency and accountability, in response to the pressing need for enhancing and fostering democracy and a system of good governance in Palestine, and as an embodiment of these principles which form essential components of democracy, a group of concerned and serious Palestinian institutions of civil society took the initiative in February 2000 to form "The Coalition for Accountability and Integrity-AMAN." The purpose for such an initiative is to launch a program for combating corruption in the Palestinian Society, and achieve the widest possible participation in its implementation.

 

The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights

The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights (EOHR) was founded in 1985 as one of the oldest and premier non-governmental organization (NGO) and its headquarter in Cairo. EOHR has a national membership of 2,300 and has seventeen provincial branches located throughout Egypt. EOHR is non-profitable NGO working within the framework of the principles established in Universal Declaration of Human Rights and all other international human rights instruments regardless of the identity or the affiliation of the victim(s) or of the violator(s). It acts against both governmental and non-governmental human rights violations.

 

The National Centre for Human Rights

The National Centre for Human Rights (NCHR) was established at the end of the year 2002 by virtue of temporary law no. 75 for the year 2002. which become a permanent Law (law no 51 for the year 2006) The Centre is an independent national institution; it has a juridical personality with full financial and administrative independence in practicing its intellectual, political and humanitarian activities related to human rights.

 

The Civil Society Commission / Arab League

In 2002, the League of Arab States appointed HE Mr. Taher al-Masri as the league's commissioner for civil society, tasked to come up with reform plans. The tasks of the commission are confined to maintaining co-ordination among Arab non- governmental organizations within the confines of interests of the Arab league in non- governmental organizations. The post of " the general commissioner for the civil society affairs " did not exist before, rather was established in the course of re-structuring of the AL by Moussa.  Many endeavours have been taken by the commission to involve governments and civil society in real dialogue and it has succeeded in bringing CSOs to the premises of the League of Arab States to voice there concerns.
